Following a sketch map from Dave de Hugard and referring to Peter Smith's book "Tracking Down the Bushrangers", Ray Mulligan and I managed to locate the Kelly homestead at Greta on a recent trip to Melbourne. The original homestead was built in 1877 and was still standing in the 1950's, although it had been altered and extended. Souvenir hunters have stripped many of the remaining relics. Here is a photo as the homestead appeared in the press of the time, plus some shots I took on the trip. Dave Johnson
